ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I graduated from St. Ambrose University with a degree in Accounting, and Im originally from Bloomington, Illinois the home of State Farm. Im married to my wife, Hillary, and we have two children, Jackson and Olivia, with a baby boy on the way in April.

Ive been a State Farm agent for six years, and before that I spent five years working in accounting at State Farm Corporate. State Farm is truly in my blood. Growing up in Bloomington, State Farm was the largest employer in town, and I always admired the agents and employees who represented such a respected company. Now, having the chance to serve my own community as an agent is something I consider a dream realized.

We run a laid-back office, but were very serious about growthboth personally and professionally. We want to grow our agency, develop our individual careers, and stay committed to continuous improvement. I firmly believe youre either getting better or getting worse; you never stay the same.

I currently have a team of five, and Im always looking for dynamic individuals who work hard, show initiative, love helping others, do the right thing, and thrive as great teammates.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Grant Milling - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
