Manager, Programs Level 3
Northrop Grumman's Space Systems Sector is seeking a Manager, Programs Level 3 to support an Intelligence Systems Division, Rise Systems Operating Unit flight program in Gilbert, AZ. The primary objective will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions.
This role as the Deputy Program Manager (DPM) will support all phases of an existing space flight program from Spacecraft Bus Integration and Test through Space Vehicle Integration and delivery. DPM is responsible for supporting the cost, schedule and technical execution of the program through its different phases. Participates in the negotiation of contract changes. Supports the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms / conditions of contract. Supports development of milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Supports direction of the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Program Managers are responsible for leading / supporting all phases of the program life cycle from inception (proposal development) through startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout). Primary Level Salary Range : $166,700.00 - $250,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
