Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. This is a primarily driving post and requires a valid driver's license. Join a team that puts people first, values teamwork, and always acts with integrity.

Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions or information as needed while maintaining access control procedures.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment within a tech, media, and telecom location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
