Job Title : Heavy Duty / Equipment Mechanic

Overview : Suit-Kote Corporation, a leading Asphalt products manufacturer, road construction and maintenance and asphalt application engineering company is seeking candidates for qualified auto and heavy equipment mechanics.

Responsibilities / Job Duties :

• Diagnose and repair electrical, cooling, computer fuel, emissions, and hydraulic systems on HD trucks and trailers
• Diagnose and repair electrical, cooling, computer, emissions, fuel and hydraulic systems specialized on construction equipment ie. Chippers, pavers, rollers, mills, etc.
• Follow paper-flow procedures, including documenting correct mileage / hours and safety procedures and complete and maintain maintenance records and job orders
• Routine maintenance such as : changing oil, checking batteries, safety inspections, brake repairs, and lubricating equipment.
• Examine vehicles and equipment to determine if additional safety or repair work is needed.

Salary Range : $25-$45
