Compensation :
New hires for this position typically start between$32.99 and $43.99hourly, depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity,and market conditions. While the full pay range is provided to support pay transparency, individual compensation will vary within the range based on these factors.

What you'll do
The Behavioral Health Clinician IV provides quality counseling, case management, education and community support services to clients with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and / or co-occurring disorders using evidence-based and promising practices.
Primary / essential duties and responsibilities are but not limted to
Provides evidence-based and research-supported mental health and psychosocial interventions through problem-solving, case management, and group facilitation in accordance with program policy and the clients’ Individual Service PlanDiagnoses mental health conditions and / or substance use disorders in accordance with the most recently published Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (., DSM-5) and ASAM requirements.Collaborates with other Pioneer behavioral healthcare providers and community partners based upon the clients’ Individual Service PlanProvides behavioral health services based upon identified treatment needs specified in the clients’ Individual Service Plan and in accordance with employee’s education, training and certification.Complies with documentation and filing requirements according to applicable WACs, agency, and funder policies.Recognizes, respects, and maintains professional boundaries with clients.Develops and maintains working knowledge of community resources.Assists first responders as needed (., police and medical personnel)
May provide clinical supervision to mental health trainees, interns, and students in accordance with applicable WACs.Must be available to perform the essential functions of this job whenever scheduled to work.Attends shift / staff meetings and actively participates in planning, coordination and communication of all types, which will contribute to the delivery of quality professional services.Utilizes critical thinking and judgment to identify the most professional therapeutic reaction or intervention in client care.Documents observations in daily notes in accordance with program policyPromotes and models’ teamwork and collaboration with coworkers.Ensures client and employee safety by maintaining, cleaning, and disposing of equipment and supplies according to policy and procedures.Maintains quality of care consistent with or exceeding standards set by federal, state, local, internal, and contract requirements.Assists in the development of treatment methodologies and educational offerings in accordance with client needs as determined by program leadership.Adheres to professional and ethical standards for behavioral health services.Retrieves client and program data as needed.Completes peer and supervise file audits to ensure accuracy and quality of documentation and services.Actively participates in agency supervision toward obtaining and maintaining licensure, in support of evidence-based practices, and in accordance with applicable WAC and RCW requirements.If applicable, provides clinical supervision in accordance with applicable WAC and RCW requirements.Obtains additional training required by applicable WACs and in accordance with annual training plan.For positions in 24-hour locations, obtains and maintains a valid Washington State Food Handler's permit within one week of hire.For positions in 24-hour locations, becomes CPR & First Aid certified within 90 days of hire (or as soon as possible) and maintains throughout employmentWhat you'll bring
Master’s Degree in mental health, behavioral health, or related human services field with curriculum related to counseling and psychology.Must possess current mental health clinical licensure (LMHC, LMFT, LASW, LICSW)2 years’ experience post Master’s Degree in order to provide clinical supervision to internsMust be able to obtain & maintain AAC credential within 60 days of hire – per WAC requirements."Agency affiliated counselor" means a person registered under chapter 18.19.210 RCW, who is engaged in counseling and employed by an agency listed in WAC 246-810-016 or an agency recognized under WAC 246-810-017 to provide a specific counseling service or services.Must submit an AAC application in the initial 30 days of employment & complete any follow-up correspondence as requested by DOH to obtain approvalEmployees who operate their own or PHS vehicles on PHS business, must have a safe driving record as defined by PHS.Employees who operate their own vehicle(s) on PHS business must carry auto liability insurance that complies with the requirements of PHS.Preferably you'll bring
Meets qualifications to be an Approved Supervisor in accordance with WAC 246-809-134SUDP / SUDPT (dually credentialed)If designated by the work location, employee must have a valid driver’s license, personal auto insurance, and a driver's abstract / driving record acceptable to Pioneer’s auto insurance company. Employees must meet requirements of Pioneer’s approved driver policy and guidelines.
