Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps / AWS Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure and CI / CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS services, automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code practices. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, a mindset for continuous improvement, and the ability to work collaboratively with development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)

Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure AWS cloud environments.

Work with core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and ELB.

Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform , CloudFormation , or CDK .

CI / CD & Automation

Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins , GitHub Actions , GitLab CI , or AWS CodePipeline .

Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve release efficiency.

Containerization & Orchestration

Work with Docker containers and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes , EKS , or ECS.

Monitoring & Reliability

Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).

Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance through SRE best practices.

Security & Compliance

Implement AWS security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, secrets management, and logging.

Support governance, patching, and vulnerability remediation.

Collaboration & Support

Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to enable smooth deployments.

Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of critical systems.

Required Skills

5-10+ years of experience as a DevOps, Cloud, or AWS Engineer.

Strong hands-on expertise with a wide range of AWS services .

Proficiency in Terraform / CloudFormation for IaC.

Solid experience with CI / CD pipelines .

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred) .

Strong scripting skills in Python , Shell , or Bash .

Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, Routing, Security Groups).

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Admin).

Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and distributed systems.

Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps practices.
