A Pastry Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the pastry department, supervising and training staff, ensuring high-quality production, and managing inventory and food safety . Key duties include preparing pastries, overseeing production schedules, maintaining quality control, assisting with hiring and training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Requirements : What We Would Like From You :

• Lead by example with exceptional pastry skills, organization, and leadership during production and service.
• Supervise and support the pastry team to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in all desserts, breads, and confections.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Pastry Chef and culinary leadership to execute recipes, develop seasonal menus, and uphold the creative standards of José Andrés Group.
• Maintain daily production schedules, oversee prep lists, and monitor ingredient quality and inventory.
• Train, coach, and mentor pastry cooks — fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and food-handling standards at all times.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for the art of pastry and innovation through exploration, curiosity, and precise technique.
