The Role

We seek an AI Automation Solutions Architect who excels at both Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Business Consulting. This role transcends traditional technical architecture—you will bridge executive strategy with technical execution to identify, qualify, and position high-ROI AI automation opportunities within client organizations. You will navigate C-suite relationships, translate business priorities into technical roadmaps, and lead engagement strategy while maintaining architectural excellence throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Discover enterprise-wide problems, assess technical feasibility, communicate solution value in business terms, and position PTM's capabilities effectively within client contexts. You will build trusted advisor relationships with executives, design scalable cloud-native solutions, and ensure successful adoption through thoughtful attention to organizational change management.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Discovery & Consulting

Client Engagement : Interview client executives and staff to identify high-churn roles, process bottlenecks, and operational inefficiencies suitable for AI automation. Apply systems thinking to understand how people, processes, and technology intersect within client organizations.

Opportunity Assessment : Evaluate technical feasibility, ROI potential, and organizational readiness for transformation including change management considerations, process maturity, and data readiness.

Solution Positioning : Translate complex technical solutions into compelling business value narratives for non-technical executives. Frame solutions using the People-Process-Systems lens to ensure holistic transformation strategies.

Engagement Leadership : Guide clients through the Digital Assembly Line framework—from discovery through implementation—ensuring measurable outcomes through orchestrated workflows combining human judgment, AI reasoning, robotic automation, and procedural logic.

Enterprise Architecture & Technical Design

Solution Architecture : Design comprehensive Solution Architecture Documents (SADs) using C4 modeling (System Context, Container, Component) that balance business requirements with technical constraints and scalability needs.

Technical Stack Selection : Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure serverless platforms, AI / ML services, intelligent document processing, and hyperautomation tools optimized for client environments and constraints.

Standards & Governance : Establish architectural patterns, decision records (ADRs), and documentation standards that enable successful handoff to delivery teams while maintaining quality and consistency.

Prototyping & Validation : Create interactive prototypes using rapid development tools to validate solution concepts with stakeholders before full implementation begins.

Delivery Oversight & Quality Assurance

Technical Leadership : Maintain consultative involvement throughout project delivery, conducting code reviews, guiding milestone validation, and ensuring architectural integrity from concept through production deployment.

Team Mentorship : Coach junior architects and engineers on translating business requirements into technical designs, facilitating knowledge transfer and building organizational capability.

Continuous Improvement : Monitor solution performance post-deployment, identify optimization opportunities, and evolve architectural patterns based on lessons learned.

AI & Automation Platforms : Design solutions leveraging OpenAI / Anthropic APIs, PydanticAI, LangChain, Azure Cognitive Services (Document Intelligence), Power Automate Desktop, and playwright for intelligent document processing and agentic workflows.

Cloud-Native Architecture : Architect Azure serverless solutions (Functions, Container Apps / Jobs), Azure SQL, Azure Table Storage, Supabase, Microsoft Fabric, and API Management for scalable, event-driven systems.

Data Engineering : Design Python-based ETL pipelines (duckdb, delta-rs), event-driven data architectures, medallion patterns, and comprehensive observability (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).

Application Development : Guide frontend development using modern frameworks including Lovable.dev (TypeScript / Vite / React), Power Platform (Canvas / Model-driven apps), and Streamlit for rapid prototyping.

Architecture Modeling : Create C4 models (System Context, Container, Component diagrams) using tools like Structurizr and IcePanel. Document architectural decisions using Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

Methodologies & Frameworks

Systems Thinking : Apply holistic analysis to understand interdependencies between people, processes, and technology. Identify feedback loops, leverage points, and unintended consequences of automation initiatives.

Digital Assembly Line : Design orchestrated workflows where work flows station-to-station through human judgment, AI agents, RPA bots, and procedural logic with full observability and measurability.
