This person can sit anywhere out of the Northeast and will spend 80% of the time traveling to customer sites to do repairs on robots. When you are not traveling, you will get to work remotely from home.
Must Haves :
- Previous experience with FANUC robot troubleshooting and maintenance
- Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic prints and related technical documentation
- Experience with preventative maintenance on robots or heavy machinery
- Able to work at customer sites with little direct supervision
- Comfortable with heavy travel (up to 80% travel), overtime work, and 2nd and 3rd shift when needed on assignments
- Ability to read and interpret PLC ladder logic a plus
Responsibilities :
Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of FANUC Robots and controllers, electrical control devices, and peripheral equipment
Provide telephone-based troubleshooting through the Hotline to support customer’s in resolving FANUC America or related peripheral equipment operational problemsDocumenting FANUC products and related peripheral equipment performance and failure modesCompletion of a Service Report for each customer call
