The Actors Fund Home , an assisted living, skilled nursing, accredited dementia care and sub-acute rehabilitation center located in Englewood, NJ, and a recipient of a CMS Five Star Rating , seeks a Full-Time Program Coordinator to help develop, implement, manage and continuously improve a comprehensive activities program for our residents. Programs are designed to meet the social, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs of our residents.

JOB DUTIES

• Develop and implement recreational programs for residents in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing neighborhoods; programs may consist of group, individual, and / or independent activities.
• Responsible for a specific neighborhood and all recreation related tasks for the neighborhood including creating meaningful activity ideas for residents.
• Prepare Activities Calendars.
• Coordinate with the Recreation team on programming.
• Occasionally attend resident care plan meetings.
• Work with volunteers and community organizations on programming.
• Maintain departmental paperwork and documentation.

All members of the team are expected to understand and carry out The Home’s policies and procedures for safe care of residents during programs and practice appropriate safety measures to prevent infection, accidents, or injury.

ABOUT THIS POSITION

This is a Full-Time (40-Hour) hourly position based at The Actors Fund Home in Englewood, NJ. The schedule for this position is Sunday – Thursday 8 : 30pm –5 : 00pm and one evening weekday shift 12 : 30pm – 9 : 00pm The range for this position is, $18 / HR-$22 / HR.
