A healthcare practice in Brooklyn, NY is actively seeking a licensed OB / GYN for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in Brooklyn. About the Opportunity : Schedule : Monday to Friday Hours : 9am to 5pm (closes at 1pm on Friday) Responsibilities : The OB / GYN will be responsible for : Providing prenatal care to pregnant women, including monitoring fetal development, performing ultrasounds, and managing any medical complications that may arise during pregnancy Attending and managing labor and delivery, including performing cesarean sections if necessary Diagnosing and treating gynecological conditions such as infertility, endometriosis, pelvic pain, and sexually transmitted infections Performing routine gynecological exams and Pap tests to screen for cervical cancer Providing contraceptive counseling and prescribing birth control methods Performing surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and pelvic floor repairs Providing menopause management and hormone replacement therapy to women experiencing symptoms of menopause Providing counseling and support to women who have experienced pregnancy loss or infertility Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications : Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York Board Eligible / Certified in OB / GYN 3+ years of experience as an OB / GYN
