As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Point in Trinity, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a secure and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will also provide outstanding customer service and communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Pay Rate : $12.50 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.
  • Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or suspicious activities according to company and client protocols.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and directions within the location.
  • Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address any security-related concerns or updates specific to the manufacturing and industrial environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
