Job Details

  • Position / Specialty : RRT NICU
  • Avg Daily Census : 6-10 vents
  • Years of experience REQ : 2 years
  • First-timers accepted : Yes
  • Weekend REQ : Weekends required as needed by the unit. Travelers are expected to work no more than 3 weekends in a row in order to accommodate unit needs
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week, facility is allowed to call off 3x throughout a 13-week assignment
  • Skills required : NICU, Pediatric Critical Care, Endotracheal tube / suctioning, extubation, nasal airway placement / suctioning, oral airway placement, oropharyngeal suctioning, sputum specimen collection, tracheostomy suctioning, Pulmonary toileting, ABG interpretation
  • Special Requirements : Trauma Level I experience required
  • Float to Adult units as needed
  • COVID vaccination required - religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of COVID exemption form, signed by a provider for medical

  • Floating to RRT Adults unit as needed

  • Special Requirements : Trauma Level I experience required

    • Additional Details

  • A valid non-local driver’s license is required. Identification cards are not accepted.
  • Copy of Social Security Card may be requested by client to verify SSN.
  • Required certifications must be verified during qualification process.
