Maintenance Manager Fremont MI

Salary Range : $89000 - $130000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mentor and manage a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
  • Develop implement and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Oversee the rapid troubleshooting and repair of equipment failures to ensure continuous production.
  • Manage the maintenance budget including spare parts inventory procurement and capital expenditures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies for all maintenance operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset reliability operational efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance effectiveness and equipment uptime.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Strong technical background in industrial mechanical electrical and automation systems.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PM / PdM) programs.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and environmental compliance in manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.

    • Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Advanced proficiency in CMMS / EAM system administration and optimization (e.g. SAP PM Maximo)
  • Experience implementing or significantly optimizing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) or Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs
