Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available to work onsite in an elementary school setting in Providence, RI. This role involves providing educational support to students with Autism and other developmental disabilities, with each classroom serving 8-12 students. There are three openings for this position for the uping 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with Autism and developmental disabilities
• Manage classrooms with 8-12 students, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, counselors, and administrative staff to support student progress
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs
• Maintain pliance with special education regulations and school policies
