Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Days – Monterey, CA 93940

Pay Rate : $63 / hour

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Position Overview :

We’re seeking a dedicated Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week contract in Monterey, California . This opportunity is based in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) located just minutes from the world-famous Pebble Beach golf course — offering a beautiful setting and rewarding work environment.

Assignment Details : Start Date : ASAP

Schedule : Days – 5x8-hour shifts (flexible scheduling available)

Hours : Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Duration : 13 weeks

Offer Turnaround : 24–48 hours

Responsibilities :

Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.

Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.

Document patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Educate patients and caregivers on at-home exercises and continued recovery strategies.

Qualifications :

Licensure : Active California Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain before start)

Experience : Minimum 1 year of PT experience preferred; SNF experience a plus

Certifications : Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required
