Role Summary

Health and beauty associates are focused on two things: taking care of the customers and creative merchandising. They move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor and create seasonal display features to meet the needs of the customer. For complete job duties and requirements, see the job description.

Work in our dry grocery department and you will ensure customers find the items they are looking for.

No matter which fresh food or grocery area you work in, there are similarities in all departments. These include detailed cleaning of the shelves and department, checking and maintaining temperature control, verifying dates, and disposing of lesser quality food products. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments

Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays

Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food

Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce

Keep area clean, sanitized, and customer-ready
