The Design team at Plaid is made up of product designers brand designers researchers and content strategists who work with our cross-functional partners to create Plaids products. We are committed to delivering an industry-leading bank linking experience that supports a wide range of Plaids customer use cases from Credit to Payments. By leveraging our expansive network and prioritizing a best-in-class UX we ensure consumers enjoy a seamless high-converting experience that drives results for customers.

Were looking for a Product Designer to join our Link team focused on this pivotal role youll collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and craft innovative solutions that enhance the bank linking experience for both consumers and customers. Youll lead the design of 0-1 direct-to-consumer products while iterating on existing experiences ensuring that every solution meets the highest standards of visual and interaction design excellence

Responsibilities

• Shipping delightful and easy-to-use experiences for consumers on mobile (including iOS or Android) and desktop
• Closely collaborating with engineers and product managers from planning through execution
• Being a tireless advocate for the users and user-centered processes
• Producing high-quality work from wireframes and user flows to pixel perfect prototypes with delightful interactions.
• Ability to develop insights into consumer behavior from both qualitative and quantitative information
• Joining a team of experienced designers and contributing to our design culture through collaboration presenting work and sharing feedback

Qualifications

$151200 - $208800 a year

The target base salary for this position ranges from $151200 / year to $208800 / year in Zone 1. The target base salary will vary based on the jobs location.

Our geographic zones are as follows :

Zone 1 - New York City and San Francisco Bay Area

Zone 2 - Los Angeles Seattle Washington D.C.

Zone 3 - Austin Boston Denver Houston Portland Sacramento San Diego

Zone 4 - Raleigh-Durham and all other US cities

Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and / or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan including medical dental vision and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience and skillset and location.
