Description

• Complete release of information requests, including retrieving patient's medical chart and returning chart, scanning medical record and transmitting daily.
• Date stamp all requests and highlight data to expedite processing.
• Validate requests and authorizations for release of medical information in accordance with procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers
• Ensure that files are properly stored and maintained
• Receives and prioritizes customer requests from multiple sources and works them through the appropriate systems to completion within required -response timeframes and in accordance with State and Federal requirements and HIPAA regulations.
• Address customer inquiries for patient information, assists callers with making record requests and general customer service.
• Educate customers on information confidentiality and privacy regulations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00 / hr.
