We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager : Electrical for our Construction industry team. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage complex electrical projects, including marina and commercial electrical works. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic oversight and direction on projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, bidding and construction services, and the ability to handle electrical permits and marine-related electrical works.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of electrical projects from initiation to completion.

2. Provide technical expertise in electrical engineering, ensuring all projects adhere to best practices and standards.

3. Coordinate and manage the bidding process, including the preparation of cost estimates and bid packages.

4. Oversee construction services, ensuring work is conducted efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

5. Handle all electrical permits, ensuring all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

6. Lead marina and commercial electrical projects, providing expert guidance and direction.

7. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within cost parameters.

8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure project success.

9. Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

10. Ensure all projects adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the construction industry.

3. Proven experience managing marina and commercial electrical projects.

4. Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.

5. Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and financials.

6. Familiarity with local, state, and federal electrical permit processes.

7. Experience with bidding and construction services.

8. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.

9. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

11. Strong commitment to health and safety regulations.

12. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
