[job_card.job_description]Lead the planning, organization, and evaluation of services delivered by the Adult Critical Care department. Collaborate with department leaders to ensure exemplary nursing care in accordance with established standards. Foster effective communication among team members and across departments. Develop policies and programs to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency in patient care. Bachelor's degree in nursing is required; advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of five years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting, including : Leadership and personnel management Budget and payroll oversight Business planning Building physician relationships Current RN license in Texas or compact state. BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. CCRN and / or CNRN certifications are preferred.
