Hermitage Hall is one of Middle Tennessee's largest stand-alone psychiatric residential treatment Hospitals. Licensed by Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a mental health residential treatment center for children and youth, Hermitage Hal l has provided services to families for over years. Located southwest of downtown Nashville, off I- at the Wedgewood exit, away from the congestion of downtown Nashville, our team of over high quality employees describe working here as family oriented, therapeutic, value clarifying. Our nurses, mental health assistants, psychiatrist, and therapist serve hundreds of children and adolescents annually, with the common goal of treating and healing trauma and building resiliency in children and adolescents.
We are currently looking for a Quality Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Coordinator provides general support to the Director of Risk Management and is a member of the Performance Improvement team. The Quality Coordinator will lead data collection and abstraction from multiple resources within the facility, with specialized expertise in the areas of clinical competency and performance improvement. The Quality Coordinator will assist with identifying opportunities for improvement, determining solutions, writing a plan of correction, and collaborating with a team to implement this plan while ensuring compliance with regulations, accreditation standards, and policies. The Quality Coordinator will collaborate with all departments within the facility.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads data collection and abstraction for quality metrics, RCA, Intensive Analysis, and other measures as assigned.
- Provides specialized expertise in the areas of clinical competency and performance improvement.
- Works in collaboration with managers and department directors and coordinates performance improvement, risk management, regulatory compliance and patient safety programs, as assigned.
- Assists with high level patient complaints.
- Investigates, collects, analyzes, reports and data in a meaningful way.
- Organize and submit monthly/quarterly reports as assigned.
- Displays knowledge of ethical principles and compliance issues in a healthcare setting.
- Provides administrative support to Director.
- Can work independently and productively with little supervision.

Qualifications REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum, Associates Degree, technical school, 2 years college, preferred, Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum, years of related experiences, one to three years, preferred three to five years.
- Preferred, Quality certifications (CPHQ, CQA, CQIA, CQPA, Lean Six-Sigma).
- Valid Tennessee Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Displays exceptional organizational, time management, multi-tasking skills, strong proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
