Job description

Are you a nurse with incredible people skills? Do you thrive in an environment that delights in creating a meaningful life for senior adults? If so, we would love to meet you! We are looking for a couple of dedicated individuals to lead our team on a PRN basis.

Responsibilities

Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.

Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.

Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing, etc.

Administer injections, prescribed medications, etc.,

Provide emotional and psychological support when needed

Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions

Skills

Proven experience as licensed nurse

Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team

Familiarity with assisted living procedures

Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices

Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology

Knowledge of Point Click Care

Good physical condition and stamina

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate and able to handle stress

Job Type : PRN

Pay : From $32.00 per hour
