HR Business Partner

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies
• Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action
• Maintains and processes all Unemployment Notices of Entitlement and attends unemployment hearings when necessary.
• Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed / required.
• Provides performance management guidance to field leadership (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
• Partners with the Recruiting team as needed for new hires, promotions and transfers
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9
• Updates, monitors and maintains eligible salary adjustments / increases
• Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs
