LABOR & EMPLOYMENT ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (MID-LEVEL)

Location : Silicon Valley (Palo Alto) CA

Our client a prominent AmLaw 100 international law firm is seeking a talented mid-level Associate Attorney to join its dynamic and growing Labor & Employment Practice Group in Palo Alto . This is an excellent opportunity to handle a mix of sophisticated employment litigation and counseling matters within a collegial fast-paced and nationally recognized practice.

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in California in good standing
  • 4 years of substantive experience in employment law
  • Experience litigating employment disputes with a strong interest in arbitration and trial work
  • Exposure to transactional employment work including drafting policies agreements EEOC position statements and DFEH responses
  • Skilled in conducting depositions witness interviews and discovery
  • Background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance preferred
  • Experience assisting clients with workplace training programs and policy development is a plus
  • Superior legal research writing and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Team-oriented mindset with a client-focused approach

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent employers in employment litigation matters including arbitration and trial
  • Draft and review employment-related agreements workplace policies and compliance documentation
  • Prepare EEOC position statements DFEH responses and related filings
  • Manage discovery including conducting depositions and witness interviews
  • Counsel employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Assist clients with the design and implementation of workplace policies practices and training programs
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy and deliver practical solutions-oriented client service
  • Maintain strong client relationships through responsive and effective communication

  • Competitive Salary : Expected annual base salary starts at $275000 as determined by experience and market factors
