Senior Data Governance Specialist

A company is looking for a Senior Provider Data Governance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Lead data governance efforts in assigned domains, driving data quality improvements and providing guidance to stakeholders

Perform data analysis and develop advanced SQL queries for governance reporting and data quality monitoring

Curate the data catalog and validate rules to enhance data quality while mentoring junior specialists

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)

4 - 6 years of related experience or equivalent experience reflecting the level of this position

Advanced SQL and scripting skills (Python, R) with strong experience in BI tools and data visualization

Experience in end-to-end data management, focusing on metadata, lineage tracking, and data quality practices

Demonstrated ability to govern complex data ecosystems and maintain clear, well-structured documentation
