Networks Connect is conduction a search on behalf of our client for an experienced and driven Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab to lead the clinical and operational functions of a high-performing cardiac program. This full-time leadership role carries 24 / 7 accountability and is ideal for a skilled RN, RTR, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist with a strong foundation in cath lab operations and a passion for advancing cardiovascular care. Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Cardiac Cath Lab, ensuring alignment with hospital-wide goals and quality standardsOversee patient care delivery, nursing practices, and staffing needs for consistent clinical excellenceDrive regulatory compliance with standards from TJC, OSHA, CDC, ACHA, and other governing bodiesLead departmental budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource planning to meet revenue and cost targetsCollaborate across departments and disciplines to promote safe, patient-centered, and evidence-based careDevelop and enforce policies and procedures to support staff accountability and patient satisfactionGuide personnel actions including hiring, coaching, evaluations, and progressive disciplineChampion initiatives that promote continuous improvement, high reliability, and a just cultureServe as a patient and staff advocate while fostering a culture of inclusion, professionalism, and clinical excellenceRequirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field requiredRegistered Nurse (RN), Registered Technologist in Radiography (RTR), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) requiredFlorida RN license or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist license requiredMaster's Degree preferred3-5 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience requiredMinimum 3 years of leadership experience preferredBLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) requiredStrong understanding of healthcare finance, strategic planning, and regulatory requirementsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other administrative software toolsExceptional decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skillsAnalytical and budget-conscious with proven success managing complex operationsMotivational leadership style focused on team development and patient satisfactionComfortable managing change in a dynamic healthcare environmentWhy Apply?
