[job_card.job_description]Work in a 16-bed ICU within a hospital setting Care for MICU patients with conditions such as ARDS, sepsis, COPD, DKA, and stroke ICU nurse-to-patient ratio is 2 : 1; IMC ratio is 3 : 1 Support staff includes CNAs, phlebotomy, charge nurse, RT, and intensivist available 24 / 7 Uses equipment such as Alaris pumps, Omnicell, GE monitors, Bair Hugger, Verathon Bladder Scanner, and Blanketrol machine EPIC EMR is used on the unit 12-hour night shifts, with two weekend shifts (Fri, Sat, or Sun) and one additional shift during the week Floating required to Med Surg (4 : 1 ratio) and acting as a resource in the ED No on-call requirements First time travelers accepted if ICU experience is strong Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays Royal blue scrubs are required Team-oriented environment with opportunities to mentor new graduate nurses on night shifts Free parking is available on site Departmental orientation includes two days plus facility orientation Absences or time off require prior resource team approval Current NC or compact RN license Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Strong skills in arterial line management, vasoactive medication titration, ventilator management and weaning, chest tube management, and critical thinking Recent experience must be within the past year in the ICU specialty Experience with EPIC charting preferred High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
