ROLE SUMMARY

A distribution company in Moorpark, CA is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, and daily warehouse operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enter data for outgoing shipments and incoming materials

• Use RF scanners, computers, and printers

• Perform basic quality checks on outgoing packages

• Print shipment labels and required documentation

• Ensure shipments are properly identified, labeled, and loaded

• Track and update shipment status

• Follow correct packing techniques

• Troubleshoot shipping issues as they arise

• Maintain punctual, reliable attendance

• Keep work area clean and organized

• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of shipping experience

Preferred Skills:

• Basic computer proficiency

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and UPS Worldship

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack

• Customer-service mindset to support internal and external partners
  
  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and carry 25-50 lbs regularly

• Must perform all duties safely
