Document Controller

Our client is currently seeking a Document Controller to join their team in Houston, TX. The Document Controller will be responsible for providing document management support to the project team. They will be responsible for administering the project SharePoint site, ensuring project documents and records are properly named and stored, and ensuring documents are displaced to the system of record through project closeout. On a daily basis, the Document Controller will work with the Project Managers, Engineers, and Field Clerks to resolve discrepancies between the master document register, the deliverable lists, and what has been received. They will develop, maintain, and execute the information management plan and will be responsible for all documentation for project activities from start through project closeout.

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience with SharePoint - administration permissions, moving documents accordingly, manage the administration aspects
• 3+ years of document control experience
• Ability to present to leadership and internal stakeholders
• Experience in the oil and gas industry
• Experience with Hexagon
