A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative to serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound calls efficiently and explain patient balances while collecting payments
Review and update patient information to resolve claim issues and communicate with relevant departments
Maintain confidentiality and comply with federal and state laws regarding healthcare billing
Required Qualifications
High School Graduate or equivalent
1-2 years of healthcare and / or customer service experience required
Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
Knowledge of healthcare billing and various insurance plans
Familiarity with CPT & ICD-10 coding preferred
