Washbay Coordinator Job Responsibilities :

The Washbay Coordinator is responsible for the daily logistical operations of the company’s industrial washbay. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and compliant cleaning of trucks, trailers, and specialized industrial equipment. The coordinator will manage the scheduling of all wash out activities, track inventory, and maintain records to support operational goals and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Washbay Coordinator Job Duties :

• Develop and manage the daily, weekly, and monthly schedule for all washbay activities.
• Coordinate the flow of equipment and vehicles in and out of the wash bay to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
• Communicate with project managers, field supervisors, and logistics teams to prioritize washout requests and manage expectations.
• Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or unexpected delays promptly.
• Provide hands-on training to new staff on proper washing procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Assist with regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to the washbay team.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all washbay supplies, including cleaning agents, detergents, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Proactively order supplies and manage stock levels to prevent shortages.
• Work with vendors and procurement to source new or improved cleaning products as needed.
• Serve as the on-site safety leader for the washbay, ensuring all personnel adhere to strict safety procedures, including the use of PPE and proper handling of chemicals.
• Conduct routine inspections of the washbay to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
• Maintain all necessary documentation and records for environmental compliance, waste disposal, and safety audits.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Manage the cleanliness and organization of the washbay facility, including the proper disposal of solid and liquid waste.
• Additional duties as assigned.
