Business Intelligence Developer (Summer Intern)

RRD is seeking an energetic enthusiastic & motivated student to join our team this Summer as a Business Intelligence Developer Summer Intern!

***THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION***

The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer for Data and Analytics Intern will join our Enterprise Reporting Team. Our team provides enterprise reporting and analytics using reports and dashboards by using a data warehouse that supports RR Donnelleys Executives Sales Finance HR and Operations. SAP Business Objects and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) are used to develop dashboards and reporting to provide the analytics for RR Donnelleys decisions and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design development and implementation of enterprise reports using Business Objects and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud (tools similar to PowerBI and Tableau)
• Regression testing BI tools including its reports and dashboards and documentation
• Assist in converting and testing BI reports for an upgrade project
• Create technical documentation and training materials pertaining to BI tool usage/interface and report content
• Under general supervision create update and implement new enterprise reports.
• Assist with creation of clear well-organized presentations and documentation
• Seek to understand RRD business units and processes through research and discussions with IT and business partners.

Qualifications :

• Completed at least 2 years of college in a technical field: computer science MIS data science math or similar.
• Desire to learn new tools such as Business Objects and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Beginners knowledge of writing/understanding SQL with familiarity of data warehousing is a must
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze data issues within reports
• Proficient skills in excel Google sheets and Google documents
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to ask thoughtful questions
• Ability to self-start and collaborate with other team members while working in a remote setting

Additional Information :

The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $24.00 / addition to base pay depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and stand-by pay.
