Quality Engineer - Missouri

Our client

is seeking an experienced

Quality Engineer.

To develop and maintain quality systems according to standards and to assist customers with any issues.

Develop and maintain quality system for projects assigned

Lead and / or participate in implementation and discipline of SPC

Develop all quality related instruction sheets

Put PPAP Packages together for submission to customer.

Responsible for resolution of customer issues for the project assigned

Provide leadership and guidance for quality personnel in the use of quality methods

Development and completion of customer sample submission packages

Direct contact for all assigned customer base

Work with customers for resolution of product quality issues

Perform all other duties assigned by Quality Manager

Continue training as required

Understands customer specific requirements

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the Supervisor to maintain and operate a safe, efficient and quality conscious operation

Environmental Responsibilities- Cooperation with action team directives. Trained in clean-up modules. Familiar with environmental plant postings.

Supervisory Responsibilities- In the event that this position becomes vacant, the Quality Manager will resume responsibilities.

or three to five years related experience and / or training; Must have experience and / or training in Statistical Process Control, QSB and LPA.

Language Skills- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

This employee will be responsible for part inspection with constant lifting of boxes for inspection and labeling.
