Position Overview

The Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high safety and quality standards. This role involves leading a team, optimizing manufacturing processes, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement in a steel processing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all plant operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
• Monitor plant performance and implement improvements in manufacturing processes and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among staff.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and manage the plant budget, monitoring costs to achieve financial targets.
• Analyze production data and generate reports to identify trends and make informed decisions.
