Entry Level Technician

Waste Disposal Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

• Packages expired chemicals for shipment or disposal.
• Empties satellite containers into bulk containers and takes back to laboratory for reuse.
• Maintains chemical storage area to keep it clutter-free and free of fire hazards.
• Ships hazardous waste from the laboratory prior to the RCRA time limit for the facility.
• Tracks volume of waste generated for reporting to corporate and EPA.
• Prepares and tracks implementation of Waste Minimization Plan.
• Orders and maintains chemical inventory for the laboratory.
• Manages consignment room to keep all laboratory areas supplied.
• Provides assistance to other departments / areas as needed.

Additional Information :

Position is full-time Monday-Friday 8 : 00 a.m.-4 : 00 p.m. with additional hours as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster PA are encouraged to apply.
