Your Responsibilities
  • Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, while developing custom care plans
  • Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions, collaborating with physicians or exercising independent practice (as credentialing allows)
  • Providing education to patients and their families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and disease management
  • Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your training and licensing
  • Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and management of chronic conditions
  • Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care
  • Accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
What You Need
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Credentials
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent in your specialty
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
