Under the direction of a radiologist or Supervisor, performs various technical procedures that require independent judgment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Performs and is responsible for work performed and submitted. Provides specialized technical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and medical knowledge, including anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. Correlates related patient data and applies physics principles to obtain optimal images for rendering a diagnosis. Must possess, utilize, and maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety. Capture images, obtain quality images, and ensure the patient is safe and comfortable.

Hourly Pay Rate : $29.20 - $43.07

Night Shift

The Night Shift Differential will be paid at 18% of the employee's base hourly rate. The Weekend Shift Differential will be paid at 8% of the employee's base hourly rate 0f pay.

Qualifications

Education :

• Requires an Associate’s Degree in Radiography and / or completed certificate program in Radiography.
