2026 YouthBuild Education & Partnership VISTA- Miami, FL

Greater Miami Service Corps(GMSC) is seeking a VISTA member to strengthen the organization's educational programming, student engagement, and community partnerships. The VISTA will enhance curriculum by researching, curating, and developing multimedia instructional materials, including videos, articles, and animated presentations, and organizing them into a sustainable resource library for staff use. The member will also design and implement a comprehensive student events calendar, coordinating workshops, enrichment activities, and community engagement opportunities to increase participation and program consistency. Additionally, the VISTA will research, develop, and formalize partnerships with employers, training providers, educational institutions, and community organizations to expand access to workforce training, career pathways, and supportive services. Responsibilities include creating partnership documents, communication plans, tracking collaboration outcomes, and developing tools to ensure ongoing partner engagement. Through these activities, the VISTA will build replicable systems that strengthen YouthBuild's capacity to support youth education, workforce readiness, and long-term career success, contributing to economic mobility and poverty alleviation for the communities served.

Member Duties : The VISTA will strengthen GMSC capacity to support youth education, engagement, and career readiness. Responsibilities include enhancing curriculum by researching and curating multimedia resources, developing animated presentations, and organizing a sustainable digital resource library for staff. The member will create and implement a student events calendar, coordinating workshops, enrichment activities, and community engagement opportunities. Additionally, the VISTA will research, develop, and formalize partnerships with employers, training providers, educational institutions, and community organizations, creating MOUs, communication plans, and tracking tools to ensure sustainable collaboration. These efforts will build systems that improve program quality, expand learning and career opportunities, and support youth economic mobility.
