About the Role

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and environmental needs. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address specific conditions and enhance daily living skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct therapy services to clients in individual and group settings.

Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve functional independence.

Monitor patients' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to promote optimal outcomes.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.

Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families to promote well-being and coping strategies.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of CA.

1-2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a similar setting.

NBCOT certification preferred.

BLS / CPR certification required.

Valid CA Driver’s license.

Documentary Requirements

Mandatory Physical (within the last year). You may bring a note from your physician prior to the Orientation Date

Mandatory TB (within the last year) OR Chest X-ray (within the last 5 years)

MMR immunization or titer showing immunity prior to your Orientation Date

Varicella immunization or titer showing immunity prior to your Orientation Date

Hep B immunization or titer showing immunity prior to your Orientation Date

TDAP vaccination or declination prior to your Orientation Date

Yearly Influenza vaccination or declination prior to your Orientation Date

COVID vaccination or declination prior to your Orientation Date
