Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $19.67 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas.
  • Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or security-related concerns according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with site staff and / or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain visible and approachable to employees and visitors, providing assistance and information when requested.
  • Stay alert to potential security-related risks specific to the tech, media, and telecom environment and report observations promptly.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
