The dispatcher role is responsible for the safe and profitable scheduling of drivers and equipment. They are specialists in communication who coordinate daily activities to provide extraordinary customer service on behalf of the company.

$25/hour

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Driver dispatch and equipment assignment for full productivity and utilization to maximize HOS and loaded miles.
• Ensure driver compliance to all company policies and guidelines in accordance with all Federal,
  State, and local regulations.
• Create load make up effectively to meet the needs of customers KPI’s, prioritization and
  specifications.
• Optimize driver performance by creating driver relationships and building strategic goals in line with company objectives.
• Verify dispatch completion through driver check-in and identify priorities that may require reallocating resources as necessary and to ensure accurate customer reporting.
• Maintain up to date dealer and driver profiles, as well as proper document retention by storing necessary load information.
• Provide Courteous and professional customer service to all department heads, Customer
  Representatives, and Vendors both by phone and in person.
• Miscellaneous tasks relating Operations, Safety, and Quality as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years operational experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations preferred
• Should be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and additional industry software.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well organized with the ability to handle a high volume of phone calls, incoming and outgoing, in
  a fast-paced environment.
• Be available for work on weekends or holidays, as advised.
