A company is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the finance team in managing and analyzing daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage monthly financial closings and analyze sales, expenses, and title counts
Create monthly summaries of financial performance and key performance indicators
Assist in preparing forecasts and perform post-mortem analyses of acquisitions / publications
Required Qualifications
1-2 years of relevant work experience in finance / accounting or a related analytical role
Understanding of basic financial and accounting principles
Proficiency in Excel (including vlookups and pivot tables) and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI, Anaplan, SAP, and ChatGPT preferred
Strong interest in the publishing industry is a plus
