The Event Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events hosted or sponsored by Erlanger Health System. These events may support philanthropic initiatives, service line promotion, employee engagement, public health campaigns, or brand visibility across the community. This individual plays a key logistical and operational role in ensuring that every event large or small reflects Erlanger's mission, meets internal stakeholder goals, and creates a positive experience for attendees. The Event Specialist brings strong project management, vendor coordination, and cross-departmental collaboration skills, and must thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

As part of the Community Relations team within the Marketing & Communications division, the Event Specialist plays a hands-on, highly visible role in executing a broad portfolio of events that elevate Erlanger's brand, deepen community engagement, and support strategic priorities across the health system.
Reporting to the Community Relations Director, this role is central to the execution of Erlanger's most important public-facing activities from major fundraising events to internal recognition ceremonies, civic collaborations, awareness campaigns, and grassroots community activations. The Event Specialist works closely with colleagues across development, marketing, communications, creative, and hospital operations to bring events to life with professionalism, hospitality, precision, and purpose.
