[job_card.job_description]Recent experience in a shipping, receiving, or logistics support role, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing setting. Proficiency with Inventory Management / Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for processing documents and maintaining inventory accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple administrative and logistics tasks in a fast-paced environment. Shipping And Receiving Logistics Clerk
Shift / Hours : Monday - Friday
Location : Fort Myers, FL
Pay Rate : $17- $18 / hr. DOE Experience : 2+ Years of Shipping & Receiving
Summary : The Shipping And Receiving Logistics Clerk provides crucial administrative and general labor support, managing the flow of materials into and out of the facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all inventory transactions, preparing essential shipping and receiving documentation, and coordinating logistics with drivers and internal teams.
Shipping And Receiving Logistics Clerk Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare for and process all incoming shipments; check in drivers, verify physical materials against purchase orders and packing slips, and coordinate with warehouse staff for proper storage and documentation.
- Process outgoing orders, generate all necessary shipping documentation (including Bills of Lading, shipping labels, and manifests), and schedule pickups with carriers.
- Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and input all material movements (receiving, issuing, and transfers) accurately into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or inventory software.
- Maintain organized, accurate files for all shipping, receiving, and material issuance records, ensuring compliance and easy retrieval.
- Process requests for parts and materials for internal teams (e.g., manufacturing, maintenance) and update inventory accordingly.
