Global Physical Security Systems Team Role
Oracle is seeking a highly experienced and multi-talented member of the physical security systems team. This role will be responsible for the delivery of Oracle controlled security systems projects across Oracle's Data Center portfolio, primarily focused on new build projects. As a leading contributor individually and as a team member, managing all aspects of the project life cycle through to successful handover. The work is often non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical and business skills in this area of specialization.
Essential Functions :
- Provides management and oversight ensuring that Oracle's Security Systems are design and installed consistently across the globe.
- Works closely with the Data Centre Build, GPS Security Operations and GPS Security Systems teams to identify Security System needs.
- Ensures systems are installed to Oracle security standards.
- In cooperation with the Data Center Build and Security Operational teams develops the security design providing marked-up design drawings and budgetary financial figures.
- Carry out on site surveys as and when required.
- Completes VAR selection process to award project works by way of contract or RFP response.
- Controls project costs, reviews quotations, raises PO's and approves all expenditure; ensures contractual compliance.
- Develops and oversees project plans, designs and processes, ensuring high quality and in budget project delivery.
- Maintains project schedules by monitoring project progress; coordinates team activities; resolves issues.
- Ensures all stakeholders are kept informed of milestones and major project developments allowing systems to be installed in a timely manner and transition into the GSOC / Local Alarm Centers.
- Manages System Integrators / VAR's ensuring GPS standards and procedures are followed and key milestones are met on schedule.
- Plays an active role in the overall management of all providers, participating in QBR / ABR programs.
- Performs additional functions as directed by the Global Data Center Security Systems New Build Program Manager as necessary to achieve assigned business objectives.
Requirements :
5+ years' project management experience, with a primary focus on Data Center Security Systems deployment.Proven track record of success the delivery of Data Center retrofit physical security projects.Must be self-motivated, but equally comfortable working within a team or alone and requiring minimal supervision.Must possess a strong background in design of Lenel Access Control & Milestone CCTV Systems.Wider experience of further Access Control, CCTV and other Security Systems is desirable but not an absolute requirement.The position will require extensive travel across the AMER region.Excellent presentation and communication skills are an absolute requirement.Highly proficient with all basic Microsoft computer software programs and communication techniques, being highly organized with a natural flair for documentation production and storage.Education and / or Experience :
BS / BA Degree desirable but not mandatory.Professional Project Management certifications are highly desirable.Physically located in US.Ability to show experience in the above required essential functions is mandatory.Additional industry certifications are highly desirable, but not absolutely required.Scope of Responsibility, Impact of Decisions and Degree of Supervision :
The Data Center Security Systems Project Managers scope of responsibility will be focused on the AMER region.The qualified candidate will report directly to the Global Data Center Security Systems New Build Program Manager, who is based in the UK.Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role that has no direct reports.There is an expectancy of up to 50% global travel.Disclaimer :

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only.
US : Hiring Range in USD from : $96,700 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
