Position Overview and Responsibilities
New Ecology seeks a Program Manager to administer the Energize Delaware Affordable Multifamily Housing Program and other emerging initiatives from our Wilmington, Delaware office. The Program Manager will manage and grow New Ecology’s initiatives to advance energy efficiency and green building practice in the affordable housing sector, primarily through the Energize Delaware Affordable Multifamily Housing Program and related, emerging program and project efforts in the region. This position bridges the housing, community development, energy, and environmental sectors. It is an ideal opportunity to improve the energy efficiency, housing conditions, and climate preparedness of affordable multifamily properties by working with building owners, managers, residents, and others in the energy and affordable housing ecosystems. This position is ideal for someone with program administration experience that is ready to take on more responsibility.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will come with experience in program administration and project management, with the ability and desire to create and manage systems that will effectively sustain program operations over time. Key competencies include excellent communication, superior stakeholder relations, a high level of organizational skills and a commitment to process documentation; and an ability to think strategically about both near-term problem-solving and execution as well as long-term program development and opportunity generation. The candidate should be entrepreneurial and a flexible team player, prepared for increased responsibility in a program and region with market growth opportunities. Qualifications include :

Compensation : $63,000-$84,000, based on experience and education.
New Ecology has an internal compensation system with established ranges across salary grades. The full potential range for occupants of this role as classified and based in the Wilmington, DE office is $63,000-105,000. Candidates are typically hired within the half of that range based on experience and qualifications (up to $84,000), with strong opportunities for performance-based advancement.

Work Location : Position is based in Wilmington, DE and serves initiatives from greater Philadelphia through Washington, D.C. Physical presence at the Wilmington, DE office is required two (2) days per week, with additional regional travel expected several times per month. Some evening meetings required.
Travel : Candidate will ideally have a valid driver’s license and / or reliable transportation, as routine local and regional travel to meet with clients, partners, and to visit job sites within the region is expected. All staff make occasional overnight trips to professional conferences and to New Ecology’s headquarters in Boston, MA.
