Application Programmer III

Location : Charlotte, NC

Employment Type : Contract

Compensation : Pay Range : $39.02-$55.75 Per HR

Job Summary

This role involves supporting the daily operations of technology platforms in a hybrid setting.
The position is contract-based and requires expertise in problem management, application monitoring, and operational readiness.
Applicants should have experience with distributed / web applications and knowledge of various operating systems and programming languages.

Key Responsibilities

Manage problem and incident scenarios, creating and tracking tickets effectively.

Identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement in production services.

Own escalations and perform troubleshooting using advanced programming skills.

Consult with end users to determine optimal configurations of equipment and applications.

Provide strategic input and leadership on technology products and service standards.

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience developing or supporting distributed / web applications.

Proficiency in Java and web technologies.

Knowledge of Linux / Unix operating systems and commands.

Experience with database management and query languages.

Familiarity with various monitoring and analytics tools.
