LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Radiology MD in California!

About The Position

Join a well-established outpatient breast imaging practice in beautiful Santa Rosa, CA as a locum radiologist . This full-time, weekday, on-site opportunity is perfect for radiologists who are confident in mammography and image-guided breast procedures. Enjoy routine work, no call , and a strong support team — all while experiencing the laid-back lifestyle of Northern California’s wine country.

🗓 Schedule & Setting :

Monday–Friday | 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Start Date : ASAP (60–90 days credentialing)

Location : Outpatient imaging center (no remote / teleradiology)

Volume : ~57 studies / day

  • 41 Screening Mammograms
  • 7 Diagnostic Mammograms
  • 5 Breast Ultrasounds
  • 2 Breast MRIs
  • Low-volume biopsies (stereotactic, US, MRI)

Key Responsibilities :

🧠 Interpret :

Screening & diagnostic mammograms

Breast ultrasounds & MRIs

🛠️ Perform :

Image-guided breast biopsies (ultrasound, MRI, stereotactic)

🤝 Collaborate with :

Highly trained mammography techs and ultrasound staff

Job Requirements

✅ ABR or AOBR Board Certified / Eligible

✅ Active California medical license – Required

✅ Fellowship in Breast Imaging – Highly Preferred

✅ BLS Certification – Preferred

✅ Must be fully confident managing all aspects of breast imaging independently
