Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Everett, WA, supporting a developmental preschool program. This in-person role requires an educator dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for young children with special needs. The contract runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to preschool-aged children with developmental disabilities
• Collaborate with educational and support staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs
• Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes growth and development
• Communicate effectively with families and guardians to support student success

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Washington State Special Education (SPED) License and Certification
• Early Childhood Special Education Certification is required
• Experience teaching in special education settings, preferably with preschool-aged children
• Strong understanding of developmental milestones and early intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
